Although I believe that it is a wonderful idea to incorporate technology into the classroom, I have do have some reservations about this. The first being in regards to under priviledged families. Although in many schools it may seem uncommon to have theses cases, however not in the school that I teach at. Many students do not have access to a computer nor the internet on a daily basis. Some only use a computer when they are at school, so this could cause many problems. If the goal of this educational blogging is to encourage participation outside of school, then would theses underprivilidhed students be penalized for their lack of participation?
Although the concept is good, I have to wonder how a teacher would be able to make this type of learning fair for all.
